The book contains rules for the classification of vessels concerning bulk carriers with a length of 90 m or more and double-hulled oil tankers with a length of 150 m or more, applicable to self-propelled vessels with unlimited navigation.
The first volume includes specific classification requirements other than the general design rules, as well as amendments and changes published since July 2022, with brief information about them.
The second volume contains general structural rules for bulk carriers and oil tankers, current as of January 1, 2023, with entry into force on July 1, 2023. At the end of the second volume, recommendations on the application of the requirements of various classification societies are presented.
