The West Coast of Scotland is an area where one could spend a lifetime and still not see or experience it all. It is rich in history and stunning scenery as well as having a great variety of wildlife. This book contains some of Patrick Roach’s stunning aerial pictures that we hope convey some of the flavour of this wonderful part of our country.
The journey begins at Scotland’s border with England, starting with the shallow, low-lying, rather softer scenery of the Solway and after a visit to the ever busy Clyde, turns northward towards the increasingly rugged and nearly deserted coastline which leads to Cape Wrath, not forgetting, of course, the well known towns of Oban, Mallaig and Ullapool.
