It has become a tradition for the Intervestnik Publishing House to meet almost every New Year by launching a new magazine. You are holding the first issue of Fleet - Naval & Maritime Review. As the title suggests, the bimonthly is dedicated to all things maritime. And this does not mean exclusively naval issues. Inside you will find articles about warship and civilian vessel projects, papers on shipbuilding studies, reports from Russian shipyards and exercises of the Russian Navy, interviews top managers of the shipbuilding industry and naval commanders. It is no accident that this new project has to do entirely with maritime affairs. The bimonthly fits nicely in our family of themed periodicals. The English language magazine Air Fleet - Aerospace Technologies Review and Russian language magazine Aviasalony Mira (World Airshows) focus on aviation. The Russian language magazine Arsenal - Military Industrial Review covers a wide spectrum of issues linked to Russia's defence industry. The English language magazine Arms - Defence Technologies Review has until recently presented armament for both land and naval forces. Now we are reorienting Arms completely to land warfare and air defence, while Fleet- Naval & Maritime Review will be a dedicated shipbuilding and maritime publication.
It is our pleasure to welcome you aboard!
