The manuscript for this book came to light as a result of a visit to the late author’s widow, Joan Evans, in connection with the republication of his much acclaimed record of wartime submarine losses entitled ‘Beneath the Waves’.
This book follows the same theme but as applied to World War II Destroyers of the Royal Navy.
